This headpiece is inspired by cubism and Picasso’s “Guernica” painting especially.
I made the wire frame and base in part one of this post and today I was time to decorate it!
I began placing felt bits of fabric wherever I felt like it to create a nice rithm between solid and tronslusent parts. I played with it a bit more and tried countless of itterations before I was happy with something. Honestly O am not sure if I am even happy with everithing that is why I unpineed everithing and just sewed on the felt parts as I was the most certain with them.
I call this MY DESIGN PROCESS as I can’t ussually draw this and it would be pointless to draw 20 same headpieces just with one diferent piece of fabric. That is why it is so important to me to have the materials and experiment as I go.

Ps: here is a random selfie from and empty school canteen as I stayed late today to work on the hat.

See Ya!!
