Recently I’ve visited a really cool place called London Nights Café and they had this very lovely shelfs staking up on each other, all of them filled with little trinkets and just the most random stuff honestly. I got cosy in a big armchair with some tea and the process could begin. I first drew with my it with my fountain pen (right image). I have to tell you I got real cosy as I don’t normally put this much detail, but I just kept drawing and drawing. Once I had enough of my fountain pen I had the idea of adding more shadows in with a marker.

MEN WAS I SCARED – I WAS SO WORRIED I WOULD RUIN THE PIECE as I thought I had quite unusually good perspective. I said to my self that this is just a sketch in my sketchbook it is not a final design or a piece for exhibition so i just went for it. the whole process was fun, but I had to be careful not to overdo it. I am most people really liked the marker version so I guess I didn’t ruin it at the end.

Still, I think I kinda preffer the line work one….
